Happy Fourth of July to Everyone!

Another time and place, we are enjoying OUR GREAT INDEPENDENCE DAY! On days and nights like this, let’s please not forget our women and men overseas fighting for our right of freedom. Be sure and take the kids, family, friends out to the riverbank to watch the fireworks.

Greeting to All!

After waiting for spring so long, we are now looking forward to the glorious summer months. I hope that you will be enjoying vacation time, weekend getaways or just what ever you do. I would like to remind you that this is the time of year new people move to the Dubuque area. They do not know a soul, their kids rarely see kids on street playing, they feel lonely. This is the perfect time to reach out to them by welcoming them to the neighborhood and mention the Newcomers Club to them. Please send that name on to Cindy. Our beautiful brochures have been designed by Kris Havlicek and are ready to be distributed. I would love for everyone in the Club has a few to pass out to the new people. REMEMBER, it takes all of us to help this Club grow.

I just added the pictures from the Spring Social! It was so much fun and we stayed way too late. Thank you Pat & Forrest Mauritz for letting us take over your home for the evening!

You may have experienced trouble reading some of the news on the site. I have fixed the problem, so you should be able to see everything without any problems now!
